Alessandro Borghi (Italian: [alesˈsandro ˈborɡi]; born 19 September 1986) is an Italian actor. He has appeared in more than twenty films since 2006. He is part of the main cast of Suburra and Suburra: Blood on Rome. He won the David di Donatello for Best Actor in 2019 for his portrayal of building surveyor Stefano Cucchi, a victim of police brutality, in the film On My Skin.

Former model

He has already known that he is handsome for a long time, at least since he started modeling at the age of 18: his adventure in the cinema began more unconsciously, first as a stuntman, then when outside the gym he met Danilo Cesarano, the man who he still is her agent and who proposed him to audition for District Police. RIS 5, Squadra Narcotici and Romanzo Criminale 2 followed in dribs and drabs. Suburra, film based on the homonymous novel by Carlo Bonini and Giancarlo De Cataldo.
